How to Connect Your Windows 11/10 PC to Olivet Nazarene University Wi-Fi (ONU)

Olivet Nazarene University provides the ONUnet Wi-Fi network for students, faculty, and staff with active accounts. Follow these steps to connect your Windows 11 desktop to ON. (Guests should use the ONUGuest network.) The following will also work for current versions of WIndows 10

Steps to Connect

  1. Open Wi-Fi from the Windows 11 network icon in the system tray in the bottom right of your computer:

 

2. Select the arrow next to Available Wifi networks. 

 

3. Select ONU Network:

  • Find and select ONU from the list of Wi-Fi networks. (IMPORTANT: DO NOT SELECT ONUGUEST)

 

4. Select Connect automatically and then press connect. 

 

5. Enter Credentials:

  • When prompted, enter your ONU username in the format username (e.g., jdoe, without “@olivet.edu”).
  • Enter your ONUpassword.
  • Click OK or Connect.

 

6. Verify you are connected to ONU

 

7.  Test the Connection:

  • Open a web browser to confirm internet access.
  • If the connection fails, restart your desktop and try reconnecting to ONU.
