Depending on your choice of venue and the format of your media, different steps will be necessary to ensure that your media is event-ready on time.
Venues
Hawkins Centennial Chapel & Chalfant Hall
Media Services will need all your content prior to the event.
If a video is being played at an event, the video must be provided one week in advance. This will allow Media Services to test the video in the room and to give ample time to make any necessary edits.
Other Locations
An HDMI input which sends to the projector is available to the user.
An adaptor may be required to connect your devices to the HDMI and audio cables that are provided in these rooms. As adaptors are regularly changing, it is important that any necessary adapters are brought along with the device.

Preparation Guidelines
General Requirements
Content must be provided in a downloadable format
Links to YouTube videos, Canva presentations, streams, etc. WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
Screen Resolution is 1920x1080 pixels (16:9)
ProPresenter is the presentation software used in all event spaces.
The Lower Thirds themes used by Media require the fonts below to be installed prior to use.
A script or outline is needed for the ProPresenter operator and video director if content is shown during the presentation.
Presentations
Use ProPresenter to create slides with transitions
ProPresenter does not accept transitions between slides if presentations are created in PowerPoint or Canva.
Ensure that all fonts are standard and at least 60pt in size
Fonts below 60pt are difficult to read in large venues (Hawkins & Chalfant).
Only use generally accessible fonts or export the PowerPoint slides as individual images.
Do not use any copyrighted content in presentations
ONU is not licensed to display copyrighted content. These include among others:
- Movie clips
- TV show clips
- Songs
If you would like a QR code to be displayed, ensure that the QR code takes up a minimum of one quarter of the screen.
QR codes smaller than this will be unusable for most of the audience. These QR codes may seem extra large when being created, but they are the proper size for the room.
Please work with Media Services to test them ahead of time in the venue.
Videos
Format must be either .mov or .mp4
Resolution must be 1080p
Frame rate of 60fps is preferred
Audio
Format must be either .wav or .mp3
If a device is brought for Spotify or Apple Music, ensure all songs are downloaded prior to the event
