Adobe Software on Campus & Personal Hardware

ONU’s Adobe Campus License has changed.  To continue using Adobe products (Acrobat Pro and Creative Cloud) via ONU’s campus licensing you must do the following:

Employees using University owned Windows computers:

IT will automatically deploy a new Adobe client to most Windows computer desktops.

1. Open Creative Cloud Desktop (either search or click the desktop shortcut);
2. Enter Olivet email address;
3. Click on "Company or School Account";
4. Enter full Olivet email address and password;
5. An update will install that will take about 5 minutes to run;
6. Select software to update/install. (To uninstall previous versions, check the box to "Remove old versions").

If you do not have the Adobe Creative Cloud App on your desktop, you may go get the Windows App at storage.olivet.edu using the process listed below. 

 

Employees using University owned MacOS/Apple computers:

  1. Go to Storage.olivet.edu
  2. Open G: drive
  3. Download the folder “MAC – Download this Folder – MAC”
  4. Open the folder “MAC – Download this Folder – MAC”
  5. Open the folder “Build”
  6. Run the package “Adobe CC 2019 – APP MAC_Install.pkg”
  7. On the Introduction page, Click continue
  8. On the Destination Select page, Click continue
  9. On Installation Type page, Click Install
  10. Once the Install has finished, on the Summary page, Click close
  11. Move the folder ‘MAC -Download this Folder – MAC” to the trash
  12. Open Finder
  13. Open Applications
  14. Open “Adobe Creative Cloud” Folder
  15. Open Adobe Creative Cloud
  16. Click on the Adobe Creative Cloud Icon in the top right had corner
  17. Enter your Olivet email address
  18. Click on “Company or School Account”
  19. Enter your Olivet email address and password
  20. You may now choose to update or install any Adobe Product Available

PC/Windows Instructions if you don't already have the Adobe Creative Cloud App

  1. Go to Storage.olivet.edu
  2. Open G: drive
  3. Download the folder “PC – Download this Folder – PC”
  4. Open the folder “PC -Download this Folder – PC”
  5. Open the folder “Build”
  6. Run the application “setup.exe”
  7. Once the Install  has finished, Click close
  8. Delete the folder “PC – Download the Folder – PC”
  9. Open Creative Cloud Desktop from the Desktop
  10. Enter your Olivet email address
  11. Click on “Company or School Account”
  12. Enter your Olivet email address and password
  13. You may now choose to update or install any Adobe Product Available

 

Employees using personal computers, Apple MacOS or Windows:

New install

1. Go to creativecloud.adobe.com
2. Enter your Olivet Email
3. Click on Company or School Account
4. Enter full ONU email address and password
5. Click Download for each of the apps you want to install

Existing install

1. Open a Creative Cloud Application or Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop
2. Sign in with your Olivet email and password
3. Click Install/Update for any Application needed

 

FAQ:
- Adobe allows 2 simultaneous sessions per account.  What Happens when I sign in a 3rd time?
When done a message will appear asking which device you would like to sign out of.

- If I sign into Adobe at classroom computer does it use a sign on?
No, signing into Adobe at a classroom computer does not use one of the two sign-ins available.

- What about student worker computers and other Multi-user Stations?
The installation for Multi-User Stations is different and will not be pushed. Please enter a ticket or call helpdesk for Adobe Creative Cloud to be updated or installed on the station.

- An Application states that it is “Not Compatible.”
Some pieces of software require a newer OS to run. Please enter a ticket or call helpdesk for more information.
