Olivet Nazarene University provides a secure Wi-Fi network, ONUnet, for students, faculty, and staff. Follow these steps to connect your Android device to the ONU network. (Guests should use the ONUGuest network.)
Steps to Connect
- Open Wi-Fi Settings:
- Swipe down from the top of your screen and tap Wi-Fi, or
- Swipe down, press and hold the Wi-Fi symbol, or
- Open the Settings app (found on your home screen or app list).
- Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on.

Select ONU Network:
- Tap ONU from the list of available networks.

3. Configure Network Settings:
- Set EAP method to PEAP.
- Set Phase 2 authentication to MSCHAPV2.
- Set CA certificate to Use system certificates.
- Enter olivet.edu for the Domain (skip if not visible).
- For Identity, enter *ONU-AD* followed by your ONUnet username (e.g., ONU-AD\username, without “ @olivet.edu”).
- Leave Anonymous Identity blank.
- Enter your ONUnet Password.
- Under Advanced Options > Privacy, select Use device MAC.

Connect:
- Tap Connect to join the network.
5. Test the Connection:
- Open a web browser to verify connectivity.
- If the connection fails, restart your device and reconnect to ONU.
